Profile

Practice focuses on dispute resolution, criminal compliance, corporate legal counsel and family wealth succession. A graduate of Peking University School of Law who began practice in 2007, he has led or assisted in more than 2,000 matters, spanning criminal defence and appeal petitions, commercial contract and equity disputes, labour disputes, family and inheritance matters, and judicial supervision proceedings. He served as legal counsel to a large state-owned real estate group, handling the acquisition and disposal of state-owned assets and land resource acquisition and recovering more than RMB 76.8 million in losses for the group in aggregate. Since 2020 he has provided group-wide legal counsel to 27 companies under an overseas trading group. He is legal counsel to the Rural Revitalisation Committee of the China Volunteer Association and to the China Association of Disabled Volunteers and its Training Committee, and serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Publicity Committee of the China Council of Lions Clubs for 2025-2027. In 2021 he was invited to serve as a mentor for volunteer training for the Winter Paralympic Games and received commendation from the Beijing Winter Olympics Organising Committee the following year.

Land development settlement and supplementary agreements for a large state-owned enterprise

Took charge of the negotiation, signing and collection of the land development settlement agreement and the project supplementary agreements; the texts were exchanged and revised 19 times, and the client ultimately collected settlement payments amounting to RMB 1.033 billion in two instalments.

Listed transaction of state-owned assets and the "multiple-exercise" rule

Redesigned the "multiple-exercise" trading rules around the characteristics of the asset and drafted a new transaction contract; a reserve price of RMB 55.1122 million was bid up to RMB 75.6122 million through online bidding, a premium of 37% that added RMB 20.5 million for the client.
